Investment Director
Nicholas joined London & Capital following the acquisition of the business of Charles Taylor Investment Management Limited (CTIM) in November 2023 as an Investment Director in the Institutional Team.
Formerly an Investment Director at CTIM, he was primarily responsible for managing the investment strategy for a large P&I Club, having joined in 2013. He was also the lead Portfolio Manager for the Alternative Investments as well as taking responsibility for interest rate strategy across CTIM client portfolios.
Previously Nicholas was a founding Partner at VOC Capital management, a commodity hedge fund where he developed a number of trading strategies, in addition to being Head of Risk. Prior to that he ran the European Commodity Investor Solutions Operation at Banque AIG, combining an in depth knowledge of commodity markets withing fixed income structured offerings.
In 1995 he was approached to establish the LME trading operation at Morgan Stanley which he ran for two years before moving to AIG. Nicholas graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Chemistry.
