London & Capital has chosen to suspend its Real Estate Funds, ("the Funds") as a protective measure for shareholders. With the uncertainty, caused by the credit crisis, this action was taken to safeguard against disposing of commercial real estate at a heavy discount in order to meet redemptions.
London & Capital were one of the first companies to act in this way; many of our competitors have since followed suit. Our experienced real estate team continues to actively manage the Funds in order to achieve the medium to long-term objectives.
